Victory Place International Community Outreach Inc., is a faith based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established in 2016 with an initial focus to educate, train, support, and assist in the cultivation of opportunities for change and development for single parents in our community. The initial program component focused on our single parent initiative where services are provided to the single parent and their children in the form of individual and family counseling, rental assistance, food distribution, social/recreational activities, spiritual and emotional support.

The program is developed to mentor both parents and their children as well as to work towards reducing the feelings of isolation and stress that often plague single parent families. The organization provides Best Practice assistance through a confidential sounding board, which allow for a safe haven for single parents to openly share their frustrations, struggles, challenges, and successes.  Group sessions are also provided and geared towards helping families meet their needs for socialization and development, mentoring and tutoring for their children. Group sessions/meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month or as deemed necessary. Parents also have the option to request a private meeting with the Program Director prior to any group sessions.

This initiative also partners with schools, churches, other community agencies, gyms, and food pantries to leverage their resources to help meet the needs of families. This includes concrete needs and COVID-19 resource needs.
